As the creative force and chief control freak, Mark Davis oversees every creative aspect of RM&G. A Cleveland, Ohio native who earned his BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design, Mark spent two years at Morgan Studios, a Cleveland-based design agency specializing in cosmetic packaging before heading west. The California wine country was calling.
An entrepreneur at heart, Mark decided to open his own agency in the wine country with fellow designer Richard Mapes and account manager Linda Gibbs. The agency's name Robert Mather & Gibbs was a compilation of the middle and last names of the principles. In 2014, Robert Mather & Gibbs celebrated 33 years as a full service advertising and design agency. A few corks were popped.
Over the last thirty three years, Mark has developed long standing relationships with clients including: Delicato Family Vineyards, Jackson Family Wines, Trinchero Family Estates, Rodney Strong Vineyards, Clos DuVal Winery, Hahn Family Wines, Mendocino Wine Company, Ferrari Carano, Darcy's Fine Jewelers, Don & Sons Wines, La Tortilla Factory, Sweet T's and Jack & Tony's Restaurant. Many of these collaborations have led to award winning designs and even more importantly, sales success stories for their clients. Cheers!
Mark lives in Santa Rosa with his wife Leslie, a realtor with Pacific Union. When not researching or designing marketing projects and with all their kids grown and momentarily on their own, they like to spend their time as avidly reading, traveling, skiing and of course, enjoying being food & wine enthusiasts with their friends.
